Position Summary
The Rubber Mill Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of rubber processing equipment, including two-roll mills and conveyor systems. This role involves feeding raw rubber into machines, monitoring production processes, and ensuring the quality of finished products. The technician will work closely with the production team to meet production targets while adhering to safety and quality standards.
1st Shift 6:30am – 2:30pm
Starting pay $21.45 after 6 months $23.23
Safely operate and maintain rubber processing equipment, including two-roll mills and conveyor belts.
Follow standard work instructions.
Perform relief operations as needed.
Feed raw rubber into the two-roll mill and ensure proper material flow.
Must be able to use a mill knife to cut through rubber at the mill.
Transfer processed rubber onto conveyor belts for further processing or packaging.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate machinery and handle materials safely.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
A high school diploma or equivalent is normally required but proven work experience can substitute for education. All qualified candidates must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening as well as post-offer drug screen and background check.
