Morson is currently recruiting experienced Manufacturing Engineer (Technical Shopfloor Engineer) to join our Aerospace Manufacturing client in Broughton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of high-performance manufacturing, contributing directly to product quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Be the technical point of contact for shopfloor production teams

Support Autonomous Production Teams (APT) in resolving technical issues

Provide end-to-end engineering insight from the production line
-
Drive continuous production efficiency using available resources and knowledge

Identify and support the resolution of Non-Conformances

Champion process improvements in alignment with Operational Excellence goals

Location: Broughton – full onsite presence required

Contract Duration: Until 7th July 2026 (potential for extension)

Security Clearance: BPSS

Shift Pattern: Double Day Shift (20 uplift)

Week A: 6:00am – 1:10pm

Week B: 1:30pm – 8:40pm

Rate: 26.92/hr PAYE 36.00/hr Umbrella

Overtime Premiums: 25 Mon–Fri, 50 Sat–Sun (beyond 35 hrs/week)
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For:

Background in Manufacturing Engineering
-
Ideally, an HNC qualification or equivalent experience
-
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards

Project management and strong communication skills
-
Proactive, adaptable, and customer-focused approach
-
Proven experience in product safety and non-conformance support
