About the RoleAs a Machine Operator, you’ll play a critical role in producing high-quality components that support aviation systems. Your work ensures accuracy, consistency, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process—helping maintain the standards that keep aircraft performing safely and reliably.
Position Details- Location: Owego, NY
- Schedule: 1st Shift (4/10 schedule)
- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
- Duration: June 9, 2026 – May 31, 2027
- Work Environment: Onsite, Full-Time
What You’ll Do- Operate light-duty machine tools such as lathes, mills, drills, saws, punch presses, and brakes
- Set up machines, make adjustments, and perform basic maintenance
- Monitor machining processes to ensure product quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using gauges, jigs, and fixtures to verify close tolerances
- Follow statistical process control and quality procedures
- Work with numerically controlled equipment when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all work instructions and production requirements
What You BringRequired Qualifications- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills for machine operation and reporting
- Ability to work in a structured, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications- Experience operating machine shop equipment (lathes, drills, mills, etc.)
- Familiarity with measurement tools and quality inspection processes
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and processes

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
