Position OverviewThe Electrical Assembler will build finished products and sub‑assemblies using work instructions, wiring diagrams, and drawings while performing soldering, testing, and basic troubleshooting. This role supports production flow, ensures quality standards are met, and contributes to efficient manufacturing operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical & Electro‑Mechanical AssemblyAssemble electrical, mechanical, and electro‑mechanical components of simple to moderate complexity
Perform fitting, adjusting, drilling, tapping, crimping, cutting, and light fabrication
Build finished products and subassemblies using work instructions, drawings, and diagrams
Maintain production stock levels to support continuous workflow
Soldering & PCB WorkSolder through‑hole and surface mount (SMT) components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Prepare materials and components for fabrication of subassemblies
Ensure proper handling and installation of sensitive electronic components
Testing & TroubleshootingPerform subassembly testing using digital multimeters (DMMs), loop calibrators, power supplies, and hi‑pot testers
Use measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, and parallels to verify tolerances
Conduct basic troubleshooting on electrical assemblies and subassemblies
Final Assembly & PackagingComplete final assembly of electronic products prior to inspection
Perform basic packaging of finished goods to support shipment readiness
Ensure all work meets quality standards and production requirements
Quality, Safety & Workflow SupportFollow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support team production goals and collaborate with supervisors and team leads
Performance ExpectationsAccurate and efficient assembly of products with minimal rework
Adherence to quality and safety standards

Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
Required QualificationsExperience in electrical or electro‑mechanical assembly
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions
Hands‑on experience with soldering (through‑hole required; SMT preferred)
Familiarity with test equipment (DMMs, power supplies, etc.) and measuring tools
Basic troubleshooting skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a manufacturing or production environment
Knowledge of PCB assembly and electronic components
Comfort working with both hand and power tools
