We are hiring a Manufacturing Production Operator in Scottsdale, AZ to support the assembly, integration, testing, and refurbishment of advanced electronic and mechanical defense systems within a secure manufacturing environment. This role requires experience with electronics assembly, hand soldering, cable harnessing, schematic interpretation, electrical testing, prototype hardware integration, and J-STD-001 workmanship standards supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute moderately complex assembly and production operations, including both repetitive and non-repetitive tasks involving electronic and mechanical subassemblies (e.g., modules, boards, panels, frames, cables).
- Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to complete fabrication, inspection, and integration tasks in research, production, or pre-production settings.
- Perform component installation, hand soldering, wiring, and cable harnessing using advanced methods and techniques.
- Support the integration and build of hardware for prototypes, subassemblies, or complete systems.
- Conduct moderately complex electrical testing, as well as hardware rework and refurbishment to meet performance specifications.
- Accurately complete required process documentation and enter data into work order management systems.
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship Required by Federal law
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Clearance: Active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Preferred: Experience working with J-STD-001 with Space Addendum standards.
- Proficiency with measuring and test equipment.
- Familiarity with data entry and production tracking software.
- Must be capable of reading schematics, using hand tools, and performing precise manual assembly work.
