FT/PT position” button. Relocation Possible Travel Possible Reporting to the Program Manager and company-level Vice-President of Quality, the Quality Manager is responsible for the successful management of all contract activities in the Quality and Safety Branch IAW the Performance Work Statement.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure all contract activities are accomplished in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Air Force Instructions, Technical Orders, and company policies.
• Report to Program Manager and Company-level Vice President of Quality.
• Oversee Program-wide Quality and Safety surveillance, reporting, enforcement, and education activities.
• Responsible for the overall administration of the Quality Management System and AS9110 program.
• Manage, direct, and supervise Quality and Safety Branch staff.
• Manage the QC Database and responsible for the CAPA process at the site level.
• Manage, direct, and supervise Branch activities to achieve performance standards.
• Ensure personnel have obtained the necessary training and instructions to perform assigned duties.
• Interface with internal and external customers, and higher headquarters.
• Ensure PWS is executed in a safe and efficient manner acceptable to the government.
• Provide guidance on workforce management on employee hiring, termination, transfer, evaluation, training, and discipline.
• Attend applicable meetings as required.
• Directs, plans, coordinates, controls, and evaluates operations and personnel.
• Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
• Represent the company in a professional manner in terms of attire, business courtesies, ethics, and customer culture.
• Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an associated discipline is preferred.
• Ten (10) years of experience in quality control required, preferably in an USAF aircraft and maintenance support environment
• Six (6) years of experience in a managerial capacity required, preferably in an USAF aircraft and maintenance support environment
• AS9110 Lead Auditor certification required or successful completion of 5-day, online course within 60 days from hire (company paid)
• Thorough understanding of USAF aircraft maintenance quality processes required Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required.
• Must have competent computer skills and be required to work all shifts in support of the mission as necessary.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Able to obtain and maintain any security clearance and/or base access as required by the contract.
• Current valid U.S. Driver’s License
Working Conditions:

• Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
