This role supports the continued evolution of Benefits Realization Management (BRM) at NAV CANADA by helping embed value-focused thinking into how initiatives are planned, delivered, and measured. The position focuses on strengthening the BRM foundation—enhancing governance, guidance, communications, and integration with related disciplines—to enable consistent, sustainable application across the organization.
The incumbent will create and maintain clear, practical information products, tools, and training that translate BRM concepts into everyday practice. Through strong documentation, targeted communications, and cross-functional collaboration, the role helps improve organizational understanding of BRM, reinforces consistent messaging on roles and outcomes, and supports the effective use of BRM in strategic and corporate planning activities.Job Description

In this role you will:
- Review, streamline, and maintain BRM documentation, including manuals, templates, guides, and tools, to ensure consistency, accessibility, branding, and version control.
- Support the continued development of BRM governance materials, including role clarity for sponsors, benefit owners, analysts, and supporting functions.
- Strengthen integration between BRM, Corporate Planning, the Portfolio Delivery Group, and related reporting cycles by mapping and aligning key activities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Design and maintain BRM communication and awareness approaches, including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites, spotlights, and targeted communications.
- Support the development of BRM training and onboarding materials, including self-serve resources, learning modules, and a BRM 101 onboarding kit for key roles.
- Curate and maintain a centralized BRM knowledge hub, including reusable case studies, benefit plans, validated assumptions, and refreshed process documentation.
- Identify issues, gaps, and opportunities to improve BRM practices and bring forward practical recommendations to enhance adoption, consistency, and efficiency.
- Work with colleagues within the Strategy Realization team (Corporate Planning, Corporate Performance) and key partners across the organization to obtain information, explore ideas and issues, and promote consistency of approaches and materials.
What you bring:
Education:
- University degree in an area related to strategic/corporate planning or communications (e.g., Commerce, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- 5&43; years experience in a strategic planning, communications or business-related role.
- 5&43; years experience in a leadership role, with experience managing projects or leading through others.
- Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality reports and other deliverables for all levels of the organization, including Board of Directors, Executive Management, Senior Leaders, and employees.
- Experience working with both structured and unstructured data to synthesize insights and support decision-making, communications, and framework adoption.
- Experience developing, implementing, or enabling frameworks, strategies, or plans in a complex organizational environment.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of leading practices in strategic and corporate planning.
- Knowledge of communications best practices, channels, techniques, and tactics.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of project management considerations and approaches.
- Knowledge of benefits realization principles and philosophy.

Working Conditions:
- This position is a hybrid position with a minimum 3 days per week on site.
- This is a term employment of 4 months with the possibility to extend.
