Key Responsibilities:The Onboard Tools & Technology Manager will be primarily responsible for developing and overseeing all aspects of the customer-facing food and beverage (F&B) digital ecosystem, spanning Mobile, .COM, and Inflight Entertainment seatback platforms. This role serves as the central business owner connecting Digital Technology, Inflight, Catering Operations, and Creative Services to deliver a seamless, omnichannel onboard Food and Beverage experience. The Manager will help drive the strategic roadmap to enhance catering reliability, personalization, and Customer Satisfaction performance through the Food and Beverage digital ecosystem. Additionally, this role will be responsible for evaluating emerging opportunities, championing cross-functional innovation, and overseeing a direct report to support program execution and long-term team growth.
- Develop thought-partnership relationships with commercial/operating groups and Digital Technology to deliver innovative, customer-facing programs — including Digital Menus and meal Preorder — that elevate the onboard experience and drive financial and operational performance.
- Manage the full project lifecycle for high-impact portfolio initiatives, including securing capital funding, authoring Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), coordinating cross-functional execution, and leading post-launch analysis and optimization.
- Manage and develop a direct report through regular coaching, structured feedback, and opportunities that support technical growth and early career development
- Responsibly coordinate automation and scheduling strategies from source to consumption, ensuring data integrity and accuracy of food, beverage, and amenity information across onboard platforms and customer touchpoints.
- Manipulate data to drive program insights and monitor KPIs to provide ongoing pulse checks on program health, customer reception, and operational performance; translate insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
Note: This is a Chicago-based hybrid role with in-office requirements 50 of the time. This role will travel up to 10 of the time.
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):- Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant work experience within Engineering disciplines, Supply Chain, Business administration, Strategy, Computer Science, or Mathematics
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to think through technical solutions and eloquently communicate those to less technical stakeholders
- Project management skills
- Capable of quickly building trusting relationships
- Ability to strategize, collaborate across multiple cross-functional organizations
- Ability to motivate and influence leadership teams on direction and strategy
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):- Masters degree
- 3+ years of aviation experience
- Working knowledge of inflight, catering processes, back-end digital technology components
- Integrated process mapping experience

The base pay range for this role is $102,220.00 to $133,194.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
