Summary:
Supervise all workflows, including scheduling and work assignments for shop floor staff
Optimize workflow, improve efficiency, and maintain shop organization
Directly manage and train all shop floor personnel and new technicians
Schedule and coordinate project retrievals with customers
Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, monthly, and unscheduled maintenance activities
Ensure all maintenance work records are properly executed by mechanics
Provide time estimates for maintenance tasks
Conduct quarterly conversations and annual performance reviews
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and security procedures
Perform maintenance work in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
Oversee parts procurement, including verification, documentation, shipping/receiving, and inventory management
Provide rapid response for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) maintenance as needed
Conduct hangar/shop facility inspections and maintenance
Maintain company ground support equipment (GSE)
Attend safety and departmental meetings as required
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance
Requirements:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
Minimum 5 years experience in Part 135/145 turbine-powered aircraft operations (CJs, Cessna, Phenom, Embraer, etc.)
Minimum 2 years of maintenance management experience
Preference for candidates with own tools
Ability to read and interpret company manuals, FARs, Ops Specs, and aircraft flight/maintenance manuals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Flexible schedule to accommodate unscheduled maintenance and flight operations
Ability to travel occasionally for off-site maintenance and repair oversight
Ability to pass background and pre-employment drug screenings
Valid Drivers License
Frequent physical activity including bending, reaching, and prolonged cockpit sitting
Ability to lift 50 lbs vertically and maneuver at arms length
Work from ladders and other equipment for extended periods
Ability to kneel for extended periods
Ability to work outdoors on exposed aircraft ramps in various weather conditions
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
