We’re Hiring Maintenance Manager – Costa Rica
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance operation of automotive equipment, towing equipment, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, operational vision, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs• Ensure reliability and availability of GSE and operational equipment• Manage technical teams, schedules, overtime, and workshop operations• Control maintenance costs, budgets, and supplier relationships• Monitor KPIs and prepare management/regional reports• Drive process improvements and operational efficiency• Ensure compliance with QHSE standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISAGO requirements• Support operations across Juan Santamaría and Daniel Oduber Airports
Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering• Bilingual English-Spanish (mandatory)• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive equipment, heavy machinery, or GSE maintenance• Previous leadership experience managing technical teams• Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance, cost control, and vendor management• Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills• Experience in aviation, logistics, transportation, or high-demand operational environments is highly desirable
