Tumeq, LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Manager to oversee operations at our subsidiary FAA Part 145 certified repair station, located in Florence & Georgetown, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will lead maintenance and modification activities for general aviation aircraft, business jets, and US Government Aircraft ensuring compliance with FAA regulations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

We operate an established Part 145 certified repair station providing maintenance, repair, avionics, and modification services for commercial and U.S. Government customers. Repair station capabilities cover fixed and rotor wing aircraft ranging from general aviation aircraft, business jets, to military aircraft and helicopters. Our facility maintains aircraft operating under 14 CFR Parts 91, 121, 135 as well as US Government Public Aircraft Operations.
Repair Station Management:
- Manage maintenance planning and production schedules
- Direct daily maintenance activities and workflow
- Assess project requirements and provide precise cost estimates for incoming work, ensuring alignment with budget constraints.
- Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and available budget to ensure critical work is completed without exceeding the budget.
- Ensure that all quotes and work orders align with the contractual budget and scope guidelines.
- Review and approve maintenance documentation and work orders
- Monitor department performance and productivity metrics
- Oversee equipment and facility maintenance
Personnel Management:
- Supervise repair station staff
- Coordinate personnel assignments and work schedules
- Manage workforce planning, training, and development of maintenance personnel
- Ensure proper staffing levels and skill mix
- Conduct performance evaluations
Quality and Safety:
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance department to maintain repair station standards and regulation compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Participate in safety committees and investigations
- Implement corrective actions and process improvements
- Maintain SMS (Safety Management System) requirements
Financial Management:
- Control labor costs and overtime
- Prepare inbound maintenance forecasts
- Analyze costs and implement efficiency improvements
Customer Relations:
- Interface with clients on technical matters
- Manage customer expectations and deadlines
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints
- Develop and maintain client relationships
