Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision; communicate effectively to receive and clarify assignments.
Coordinate with MTL, STM, and Inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA documentation standards; complete work orders, CMP cards, and sign-offs accurately and on time.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
Tag and securely store customer property and components.
Follow proper procedures when operating ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic lifts, tow tugs, forklifts).
Assist with aircraft movement on ramps and in hangars.
Train and support less experienced technicians.
Protect customer property at all times.
Properly dispose of waste fluids and materials; apply 6S and Lean practices to maintain clean, organized workspaces.
Support and apply Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Maintain and return company tools and equipment to proper storage after use.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective gear; address unsafe conditions immediately.
Use the material tracking system for parts requests, labor charges, and task sign-offs.
May participate in aircraft certification and flight testing as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience, or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience including 2 years on mid/large-size aircraft.
Valid Drivers License.
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies/procedures.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
