PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate workflow on aircraft projects
- Set an example of compliance with company Policies & Procedures
- Supervise work practices for aircraft airworthiness
- Provide technical support to technicians
- Ensure safety and company guidelines are followed
- Provide support for maintenance manager
- Ensure all work is completed before the final inspection
- Oversees quality control
- Ensuring that all test equipment is calibrated and maintained before use
- Ensuring compliance with all service bulletins and airworthiness directives
- Adhere to FAA regulations and guidelines
- Inspects and repairs aircraft that are housed at the facility as directed by the Director of Maintenance.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Supervise work practices to Ensure Company Policies & Procedures are followed
- Ensure labor on work orders is organized and productive
- Ensure parts & supplies request dates support WO Goals & “Out Dates”
- Direct technician’s daily workload and priorities
- At least 5 years’ experience in aviation project management
- FAA Airframe & Power Plant certification
- Associate’s degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology (Preferred)
- Experienced working with type of aircraft operated at facility (Preferred)
- Model specific training (Preferred) Pilatus PC12, PC24, Cirrus SR and SF series.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Experience as a lead in aviation maintenance and operations
- Must be thoroughly familiar with company Policies & Procedures
- Demonstrating the ability to manage and supervise people
- Good working knowledge of computers, internet, Microsoft office suite and office equipment
- Understand and comprehend specialized technical manuals, procedure manual, blueprints, diagrams, schematics and detailed forms.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and FAR/AIM/AMT
- Knowledge and use of specialized tools for aircraft inspection and repair
- Must be able to safely operate aircraft service equipment such as: auxiliary power unit; aircraft tug; power tools; mechanical hand tools/ paint spray equipment; tire/wheel maintenance equipment; electrical test equipment; and battery chargers.

- Above average strength, endurance, dexterity and coordination
- Able to lift as much as 100 lbs.
