Job Summary
We are seeking a Paint Inspector to monitor and ensure the quality of paint applications and preparation operations. The successful candidate will have experience in aircraft paint and strong attention to detail.
Minimum Required detail
  • Education: High school education or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years of aircraft airframe nomenclature experience, including 2 years of aircraft paint experience within the last 5 years.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand technical information.
  • Microsoft Office: Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk up aircraft tail stands, stand and kneel for extended periods, and wear a respirator.
  • Safety Requirements: Pass vision testing and pulmonary function test.
Additional Desired Qualifications
  • Aircraft Experience: Experience with Falcon aircraft.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to think multi-dimensionally and solve issues.
  • Computer Skills: Experience with database software.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work proactively and autonomously.
  • Conflict Management: Conflict management skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Paint Inspection: Inspect paint at all critical stages and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure all process discrepancies are documented and closed before moving to the next step.
  • Documentation: Complete inspection checklists and provide detailed daily reports.
  • Quality Assurance: Communicate deviations in process to Quality Assurance (QA) and validate paint thickness measurements.
  • Airworthiness Inspection: Perform visual airworthiness inspections before returning aircraft to production hangar.
  • Quality Support: Provide general support to resolve quality problems and maintain good team relationships.

  • Aircraft Paint Experience: Strong background in aircraft paint inspection.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect paint and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide support to paint team members.
  • Proactive: Ability to propose new strategies to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
