Job Title: Chief InspectorJob DescriptionThis role is responsible for overseeing all aircraft inspection activities, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and established quality standards. The Chief Inspector will supervise a team of inspectors and report directly to the Vice President of Maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of aircraft inspectors, assigning tasks and ensuring proper training and competency.
- Oversee daily inspection operations and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Manage and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
- Make critical decisions regarding aircraft airworthiness to ensure safe operations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive inspection procedures.
- Monitor maintenance quality, ensuring proper documentation of all inspection findings.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable FAA regulations, manufacturers maintenance manuals, and internal quality standards.
- Review and approve maintenance documentation, including work orders, logbooks, and inspection reports.
- Conduct audits and spot checks to verify compliance with procedures and regulations.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience on turboprop aircraft.
- 3+ years of experience in quality and leadership/supervisory roles.
- A&P License.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations (CFR Parts 21, 39, 43, 135, 145).
- Eligibility for safety-sensitive hire.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Valid drivers license.
- Experience in repair, troubleshooting, heavy maintenance, line maintenance, and MRO.
- Proficiency in C checks.

Work Environment
Work a 6-day week from Monday through Saturday, with 10-hour shifts from 0700 to 1730, including a 30-minute lunch break. This schedule is through June 2025.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $145000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
