* Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance as an A&P Mechanic preferred
* Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to safely drive and operate manual vehicles and equipment
* Capable of working independently or with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and mathematical proficiency
* Ability to follow verbal and written directions
* Skilled in interpreting and applying technical data
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance, or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience preferred Job Duties & Functions
* Inspect, repair, service, and overhaul aircraft and related components
* Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components using company tools and equipment in accordance with maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company procedures
* Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units
* Interpret manufacturers’ and airlines’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and specifications to determine repair or replacement methods
* Complete documentation, including identification tags, inspection forms, routing tags, and component removal logs
* Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear, damage, or defects
* Repair or replace defective engine parts and reinstall engines in accordance with approved procedures
* Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories
* Perform miscellaneous servicing duties, including cleaning, greasing, servicing, moving aircraft parts, and checking brakes
* Maintain accurate training records with appropriate personnel sign-off
* Assist with maintenance of company equipment and general shop housekeeping activities
* Promote and maintain safe working conditions by following safety protocols and directing other A&P Mechanics when required
* Participate in safety education programs and report workplace hazards in accordance with company policies and government regulations
* Notify supervisors of unsafe actions, conditions, incidents, or accidents and support corrective actions as necessary Physical Requirements & Environment
* Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
* Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level
* Occasional crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs unassisted
* Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
* Corrected vision and hearing to the normal range
* Use of aircraft ground servicing equipment, including tugs, tractors, hi-lifts, trucks, servicing carts, and test equipment
* Use of hand tools per the A&P Mechanic tool list, rivet guns, and drills
* Exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, and hazardous materials identified on Safety Data Sheets
