A&P Mechanic – Widebody Aircraft $40/hr Heavy Jet Experience Required
We are seeking experienced A&P Mechanics to perform maintenance on Boeing 767-300 aircraft, primarily supporting cargo operations. This is a great opportunity for professionals with heavy jet experience, whether from Boeing or Airbus platforms, to join a high-performance team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft systems in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Inspect and troubleshoot aircraft systems, identifying worn or defective parts.
- Sign off on completed maintenance tasks and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; assist in upkeep of company equipment and property.
- Follow all directives from Supervisors and Management.
- Report directly to the Director of Quality Control when performing RII (Required Inspection Items) tasks.
- Attend all required training sessions as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid A&P License.
- At least 2 years of experience on Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
- Proven heavy maintenance (heavy jet) experience.
- Must provide a basic personal tool set and be comfortable working from mobile toolboxes or trucks.
Work Schedule
- Week 1:Sunday–Wednesday, 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- Week 2:Sunday–Tuesday (rotating 4-on, 3-off, 3-on, 4-off schedule)
Compensation
- $40.00 per hour
- Contract position with consistent hours and overtime potential
Work Environment
- Outdoor work environment; must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
- Fast-paced, team-oriented setting focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
