This position will sit at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico during the Internship period. Relocation is not offered.
What You Will Do:
Assist in supporting scalable and secure infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure, and on-premises hosting.
Help monitor system performance, availability, and reliability of cloud and hosting services.
Support cloud cost tracking efforts and assist in identifying opportunities to optimize resource usage.
Learn and assist with automation of infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Assist with analyzing cloud usage and infrastructure performance data.
Support documentation of infrastructure standards, processes, and best practices.
Participate in monitoring and maintaining security standards and compliance requirements.
Assist with routine audits related to system performance, security, and cost management.
Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure solutions that meet application and business needs.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.

Develop skills in managing projects, streamlining workflows, and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency within a corporate environment
Gain proficiency in analyzing business data, creating reports, and using tools to support decision-making and strategy development
Build experience working across various departments, enhancing communication and teamwork skills to achieve organizational goals
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Exposure to scripting or automation concepts (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts
Exposure to container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
Interest in cloud cost management and FinOps practices
Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate and learn
Interest in pursuing cloud or infrastructure certifications
