AFTERGLOW Aircraft Solutions is an aircraft interior refurbishment company that specializes in providing top-quality aircraft interior solutions for private, charter, and commercial clients. 

We’re looking for a skilled Aircraft Seat Upholsterer to join our growing team and help deliver superior craftsmanship in line with FAA standards.

 Responsibilities:

• Reupholster aircraft seats using leather, vinyl, and fire-retardant fabrics
• Read and interpret seat designs, patterns, and FAA documentation
• Use industrial sewing machines, foam-cutting tools, and other upholstery equipment
• Inspect seats for wear and damage, and perform necessary repairs or rebuilds
• Ensure all work meets FAR 25.853 flammability and safety standards
• Collaborate with interior technicians to maintain workflow and turnaround targets

Qualifications:

• 2+ years upholstery experience (aviation, marine, or automotive preferred)
• Skilled in patterning, cutting, sewing, and installing seat covers
• Experience using sewing machines and pneumatic tools
• Knowledge of aviation regulations (preferred, but we can train the right person)
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• FAA Part 145/MRO or aviation shop experience is a plus
