From our southern NH campus of facilities, Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions is seeking a talented, motivated Principal Electrical Engineer who wants to join an organization where teamwork is highly valued. The selected candidate will apply their skills in design in order to develop and support our “Design it Right” initiative for a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The selected candidate will have the opportunity, to acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills on innovative technology while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects in a Hybrid work format.

The duties assigned to this senior engineering position, will include the following:

Assist in translating system requirements into compliant complex printed board assembly designs.
Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting.
Integrate Evaluate hardware module performance using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a Laboratory environment.
Create design documentation and verification test procedures.
Simplify the Engineering Service Model, knowledge transfer by mentoring junior engineering talent.

It will be expected that the candidate be proficient in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with product development and support of electronics equipment
Detailed design experience in Power Supply (AC to DC / DC to DC) design and EMI design
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness.
Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis tools
Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Knowledge of Platform Power and EMI Standards: MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464
Solid fundamentals of digital/analog/mixed signal electronics and interface/communication standards
Understanding of electronics manufacturing and test methodologies
Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments
Experience with printed board assembly (PBA, PCB) design using Cadence tools
Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes
Experience with radar systems
Knowledge of memory interfaces such as DDR, QSPI
Knowledge of data transfer protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, JESD 204, I2C, JTAG
Control account management experience
Active DOD security clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
