What You Will Do:

• Participate in cross-functional team efforts to yields, production throughput, equipment capacity, and overall product Quality.
• Identify defect trends and perform root cause analysis. Implement corrective actions to resolve.
• Analyze performance and reliability of existing production equipment and establish programs and solutions for decreasing downtime.
• Program and optimize program peformance of equipment, ensure TPMs and PMs are created and available
• Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for accurate staffing and identify new and optimized approaches that will minimize production staffing needs and capital requirements.
• Select and order capital equipment using sound cost/payback analysis. Generate and track Appropriation Requests.
• Improve existing fixtures and equipment needed to improve performance.
• Support efforts to conduct R&R efforts on new test solutions to verify consistent product and equipment performance. Drive manufacturing process improvements across multiple assembly process steps
• Analyze and understand factory needs and requirements.
• Conduct Process Flow analysis and make improvements.
• Develop tools that enable manufacturing or increase production rates.
• Implement Procedure and process improvements based on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Improving production facilities and equipment layouts
• PFMEA analysis and implementation of actions.

What You Will Learn:

• Enhance your technical skills for the entire product assembly board level through top-level assemblies.
• Improve & Maintain production equipment and evaluate layout changes to bring in new equipment, accurate change management procedures for all MFG documents.
• Gain practical experience with Lean Manufacturing
• Develop your skill with MFG Flow optimization, Line balancing and OEE.
• Develop an indepth understanding of electronics manufacturing

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Electronics Manufacturing experience.  
• Experience with programing equipment and factory layouts.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
