Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Test Engineer for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other aerospace system development, acquisition, operations, and sustainment efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to support the US Air and Space Forces’ acquisition and integration of next-generation technologies and capabilities. You will be part of a tight-knit team charged with supporting the development and acquisition of ICBM Advanced Planning projects to include, experimental flight tests, test plan development, test management, and future technology insertion for ICBM weapon systems. Specifically, you will directly support the Advanced Planning Branch Program Manager by evaluating and maturing technology readiness levels for a diverse portfolio of cutting-edge technologies. You will play an active role in the experimental flight test program by evaluating new technologies to be flight tested, analyzing the products of partners and stakeholders to ensure flight test requirements are met, coordinate range activities, lead working groups and integrated product teams focused on various flight test mission activities, and support multiple flight test missions through moderate travel to milestone reviews and site visits to ensure mission readiness. You will be the technical lead for developing and managing requirements associated with flight test launch vehicles. You will drive test and evaluation excellence by developing comprehensive test plans, managing test execution, and analyzing results for experimental flight tests and other technology demonstrations. You will assist the government customer in the review and assessment of the design, documentation, architectures, and MBSE products to meet acquisition requirements and timelines.
This test engineer will work with a highly skilled team providing test engineering support for the next-generation ICBM, the LGM-35A Sentinel, and includes integrating efforts across the ICBM enterprise and other DoD customers and stakeholders.
