Job Requirements:
Required Education, Experience, & Skills To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and at least two years of relevant work experience.
Key qualifications include:
- Strong knowledge of products and advanced understanding of a specific functional or technical area, with a deep grasp of engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using current computer applications and technologies relevant to your engineering discipline.
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and data acquisition computers, for testing and verification purposes.
- The ability to analyze and resolve complex engineering problems that involve conflicting requirements, coordination challenges, and technical intricacies.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver technical reports, papers, and presentations to various stakeholders, including customers, industry leaders, and senior management, both in writing and in person.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred qualifications for this role include:
- In-depth knowledge of relevant military and commercial design standards, with some positions requiring specialized technical expertise in specific areas.
- Familiarity with various protocols, including SAE J1939 CANBus, 10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet.
- Experience with the integration of military communication and antenna systems, such as BFT, SINCGARS, DAGR, and CREW2.
- Programming experience with National Instruments LabVIEW Systems Design Software.
- Professional certification in a specific engineering discipline is highly desirable.
- For certain positions, the ability to obtain a Security Clearance may be required.
- Additionally, certification as an IPC Specialist to J-STD-001 for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies is a plus.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $63662 - $108225
