This role combines deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture and developing and democratizing building Agentic applications. The Distinguished Engineer will drive technical vision, influence architecture across teams, and lead the development of highly scalable, secure, and resilient systems that power mission-critical applications. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who thrives in solving complex distributed systems challenges and shaping long-term platform strategy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for cloud-native and AI-enabled platforms across the organizationLead the design and implementation of large-scale distributed systems using AWS services and microservicesArchitect and optimize Agentic applicationsDefine and evangelize Delta’s Agentic architecture and establish the taxonomy of Delta AI AgentsEstablish engineering best practices for scalability, reliability, performance, and securityProvide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers and architects across multiple teamsCollaborate with product, data science, and infrastructure teams to align technical strategy with business goalsEvaluate emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into the platform roadmapLead architectural reviews and guide complex technical decision-makingChampion DevOps and automation practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, even for building agentic applicationsEnsure compliance with security, governance, and cloud cost optimization standards
