PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a professional, personable, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant – Front Desk Lobby Receptionist to support the Security and Administrative Department at a leading aerospace company in Goleta, CA. In this vital front-line role, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, representing a mission-driven team that is powering next-generation aerospace innovations.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
What You’ll Do
Greet and process all visitors, verifying ID and issuing badges.
Answer and manage incoming calls, page employees, and take messages.
Provide administrative support including scanning, filing, copying, and correspondence.
Manage mail handling, office supplies, and keep the lobby area neat and professional.
Support security and administrative tasks with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Assist with general clerical duties and help keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Experience operating standard office equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Customer service experience with a polished, welcoming demeanor
Familiarity with PowerPoint and additional administrative tools
Proven ability to manage a front desk with professionalism and poise

Pay Details: $27.25 to $34.39 per hour
